Numia is designed specifically for preventive testing — giving you structured panels across key health systems, with physician review and clear results you can act on. It's simply a different use case.

Annual physicals focus on screening for immediate concerns. They don't always provide a full baseline across key systems. Numia offers focused panels measuring the markers that influence energy, heart health, hormones, thyroid function, nutrients, and kidney health. Each panel is physician-ordered and collected at home. You receive your full lab report plus a clear Personal Summary with practical recommendations you can act on or discuss with your GP. It's not a replacement for your doctor — it's a more proactive way to understand your baseline.

Appointment availability depends on your location and schedule preferences. We typically have availability within 1–3 business days. You can see real-time availability when booking online.

We currently serve the Greater Vancouver Area, including Vancouver, West Vancouver, North Vancouver, New Westminster, Richmond, Burnaby, and Surrey.

Numia complements your primary care provider — it doesn't replace them. We focus on prevention-based testing and clear interpretation. Numia is not intended for emergency or urgent health concerns. If anything requires follow-up, your results can be easily shared with your GP or care team to ensure you receive well-rounded medical support.

If a marker falls outside the reference range, it is reviewed by a licensed physician. If clinical follow-up is recommended, you'll receive clear guidance on next steps. We can also help coordinate a referral if needed (billed separately).

Yes. You can reschedule at no cost up to 24 hours before your visit. Because our healthcare professionals are dispatched specifically for your visit, changes within 24 hours incur a $65 fee.

Numia's services are billed privately and are not covered by MSP. Some costs may be reimbursed through Health Spending Accounts or extended health benefits — coverage depends on your specific plan.

Yes — most employer Health Spending Accounts (HSAs) and many extended health benefit plans reimburse the cost of physician-ordered blood panels like ours. After your visit, you'll receive a receipt which you can submit directly to your plan administrator. Coverage limits and eligible expense categories vary by plan, so check with your provider if you'd like to confirm before booking.

We don't provide financing directly. At checkout, you can choose to pay over time through Affirm (3–18 months, subject to approval).

We take privacy and information security seriously. Numia is compliant with PIPA and PIPEDA. Your personal health information is encrypted and securely stored, and it's only shared with the licensed healthcare professionals and accredited Canadian laboratories involved in your care. We do not sell your data.
